Taylor Sparkles Cosmetics Review

When Taylor Sparkles Cosmetics offered to send me some products, I was overjoyed.  Besides the fact that I love to try out new makeup, I also love to support small companies.  Taylor Sparkles Cosmetics was founded in 2014.  Their website is coming soon, but you can currently order through their Instagram @taylorsparklescosmetics.  Taylor Sparkles was created by Taylor Jackson, who is so sweet, sending me multiple foundation shades and a liquid highlighter to suit my skintone as well as a handwritten note.  While these products were sent to me, that will not influence my honest review.  With that said, let's get into this Taylor Sparkles Cosmetics Review!

Taylor send me four different shades so I could find my perfect match.  I got the shades C8, C35, N75, and C25.  C25 leaked on the way to me but I still swatched it for you.  I mixed together C35 and N75 to create the best match for me.  The foundation comes in 16 shades and costs $24.99 which is a reasonable price for an indie brand.  The foundation leaves a natural finish and is a lighter coverage, but is still buildable.  The formula blends out very easily and doesn't cake up or settle into fine lines.  Overall, I really like this foundation because it leaves the skin looking smooth, but still skin-like and fresh.  I wore it to a fun pool day for about 8 hours and it looked great all day.   After I use up this sample, I would definitely be interested in purchasing the full size.

Illuminating Lotion

I've been obsessed with cream and liquid products recently, so it was perfect timing to receive Taylor Sparkles's liquid highlighter in the shade Fake It.  Fake It is a pinky shade that reminds me of the eyeshadows Natasha Denona Golden Rose and Urban Decay Fireball.  I'm not the biggest fan of pink toned highlighters, but this one actually looks really pretty on my skin and has such a beautiful golden sheen when it hits the light.  Priced at $24.99, it is a little expensive but the color is very unique and stunning.  The only thing is that this highlight is a little thicker than other liquid highlighters I have used so I recommend blending it out quickly. After testing this one out, I am intrigued about their other highlighting shades which I am sure are just as gorgeous.

I am really excited to see the products that Taylor Sparkles Cosmetics releases.  So far, they have the foundation and highlighter that I showed you as well as primers, liquid star crystals, liquid velvet lippies, and concealers.  From the products that I received, I would definitely recommend checking this brand out.  I was impressed with the products and am thrilled that I got the opportunity to discover and review this brand.  Check out their products through their Instagram page here.  Make sure to subscribe and I will see you in my next post!

    • It is! It is such a unique beautiful color and is chunky or too glittery. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I loved the products and can’t wait to try more! I think they are setting up a website, but for now you can check out @taylorsparklescosmetics on Instagram.
